Come Hither Walkthrough: Free Silk Threads for the Arbiter Armor
Come Hither quest walkthrough in Blood of Dawnwalker: clear the Murohn from the Sanzhana's burrow and grab the free Silk Threads for the Arbiter armor.
Starting Come Hither
“Come Hither” unlocks after Good Home and begins north of the Vedera Marsh Guardpost shrine in The Silts, just south of Svartrau City — cross the small bridge and follow the question mark. You will know you are close when you see a body hanging from a tree; the Sanzhana waits just beyond it. If you visit before finishing Good Home, neither she nor her burrow will exist yet.
She tells you a monster has taken her burrow. Follow her down.

The Murohn Fight
The squatter is a Murohn, Malformed Monstrosity — basically a rabid, lesser Vrakhiri. Expect teleporting aggression and a signature unblockable shout: dodge it sideways or it stuns you, then punish the recovery. Everything else can be blocked or parried, and perfect blocks stagger it for two or three free hits. Two practical tips: fight at night if you can, so Voracious Bite keeps you topped up through the attrition; and there is no fail state — a death just reloads the nearest autosave.
The fight is tuned mid-game, so if it drags, step out, level, and return. The skill order that front-loads sustain makes this fight noticeably shorter.
Loot Before You Leave
The lair is unusually generous — and one item here is the entire reason veterans route this quest early:
- Bundle of Silk Threads — beside the torch near the cave entrance, on your left as you walk in. This is one of the four components for A Bulwark Against Darkness and the legendary Arbiter armor set, and it is free. The alternative is paying the Pearly and Precious merchant 5,000–6,500 denarii. Grab it.
- Mastercrafted Falchion — an epic slow sword, in the burrow.
- Bond of Preservation (epic amulet) — one database lists it as the Murohn’s drop; another names a Band of Endurance. Sources disagree, so check both the body and the floor.
- Ruby Diadem, 72 denarii, an Invitation from Bakir letter, Murohn blood, and a few small drops.
Reporting Back and Rewards
Return to the Sanzhana and tell her what you found. In the conversation you learn how the Murohn got in — and that her “rescue” was never possible: her sisters were already dead before you arrived. The quest pays 100 XP, one skill point, and one letter to Lunka, and it counts toward the Sanzhani five that buy the extra day.
The Murohn’s Move Set
Worth a closer look, because this is your introduction to Vrakhiri-adjacent enemies and the pattern repeats in harder fights. The Murohn alternates between a teleporting claw flurry (blockable, and a perfect block here staggers it hard), an overhead claw slash that is easiest to sidestep, and the unblockable shout — a cone roar that stuns on hit and is the only move that genuinely threatens a run. Its tells are readable: it rears back and its chest glows before the shout, so the discipline is simply not greed — land your two or three hits after each stagger, then disengage until the next opening. Fights like this are why the riposte-first skill order exists: the whole encounter is a blocking exam with loot at the end.
What Happened to the Sisters
Talk to the Sanzhana after the fight and she explains the burrow’s fall: the Murohn got in before anyone understood what it was, and by the time the Tsarina’s people could respond, her sisters were already dead. Her request was never a rescue — it was a revenge contract dressed as one, which is the Sanzhani pattern across the cluster: emotional framing, transactional reality. The detail matters for reading the rest of the questline hub — by the time you reach Burrow Sorrows, you have seen this exact shape twice.
One last tip: the burrow’s torch-lit entrance makes the Silk Threads easy to spot on a return visit, but mark the location on your map anyway — the Silts have several identical cave mouths, and the right one is easy to confuse after a few in-game days.
Frequently Asked Questions
I left without the Silk Threads — can I go back? Yes. The burrow stays accessible; return any time before the finale and the bundle remains by the torch.
Is the Murohn a boss? A miniboss — tougher than camp trash, far below the court bosses in the boss order. It is your first taste of Vrakhiri-style teleport aggression, and easier versions of its pattern return in Xanthe’s fights.
What level should I be for Come Hither? Mid-game, roughly the bracket where you are clearing The Silts content comfortably. Under-leveled, wait for night and lean on Voracious Bite; there is no timer on the quest.
Why do guides call this quest mandatory for the Arbiter armor? It is the only free Silk Threads source. Every other component of the set costs either denarii or quest progress.
